A hands-free timer for timed exercises
Physiotherapists prescribe exercises as hold a position for so many seconds, rest, and repeat. This timer runs exactly that: set the hold time, the pause between series and how many series, then press Start. A full-screen view counts each series down with a large number and colour — green while you hold, amber during the pause — so neither you nor the patient has to watch the screen closely. It is built for a clinic tablet: big buttons, and the screen is kept awake for the whole session.
Cues you can turn on
Beeps sound on the last three seconds of each phase and when a phase changes; an optional spoken voice announces “Hold”, “Rest” and “Done”; and a short vibration marks each change on tablets that support it. Turn each cue on or off before you start. You can save a configuration under a name — a shoulder routine, say — and reload it in one tap next time; saved programs live on your device only, nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
What is this timer for?
It runs timed exercises the way a physiotherapist prescribes them: hold a position for a number of seconds, pause, and repeat for a number of series. A full-screen run view counts each series down with a large number and colour so you and your patient do not have to watch the screen closely — useful on a clinic tablet.
How do I set it up?
Enter the hold time, the pause time between series, and how many series, then press Start. There is an optional get-ready countdown, and you can save a configuration under a name (for example a shoulder routine) to reload it next time — saved on your device only.
What cues does it give?
The whole screen turns green while you hold and amber during the pause, with a big countdown and a series counter. You can also turn on beeps, a spoken voice, and vibration (on supported tablets). The screen is kept awake during a session so it does not dim.
